I rang HMRC/Child Benefit Office on 0300 200 3100, to check the progress on my claim (which they received on 13th Aug 2015). I waited for 32 minutes for them to answer my call. “S” said they put evidence they’d received from me (on 25th Sept according to Royal Mails’ Track & Trace) on their system on 29th Sept 2015, and they’re still investigating. “S” said he’d send a referral off to Head Office, as a “Priority”, and I should receive a call back within 24hrs (from tomorrow).
