I emailed my local MP’s office/team today, to complain about the DWP’s & CAPITA’s handling of my 1st Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Claim. I asked them to prompt CAPITA to respond to my escalated complaint. I also detailed that CAPITA sent a report to my GP Surgery to be completed in respect of my PIP claim, but CAPITA say they never received the completed report back, and CAPITA subsequently explained to me that they don’t chase up GP reports!
My GP Surgery has the very unhelpful policy of refusing to give patients “letters of Support” for DWP Benefit issues.
These two factors significantly contributed to me losing my (1st Claim) 1st Tier PIP Tribunal, (which took place in August 2015, a mere 21 months after applying for PIP in November 2013).
[NOTE: To date (31st October 2015), I still haven’t received a response to my escalated complaint from CAPITA]
