Having spent the last couple of years trying to get HMRC/Child Benefit Office to do their jobs properly, after making several complaints, and reporting my ex-partner several times for continuing to claim Child Benefit when he wasn’t entitled to it, and the detrimental effect this had on Child Maintenance calculations, I am progressing my complaint on to the next stage. I have typed and posted a letter of complaint to The Adjudicator’s Office, briefly outlining the failings of HMRC/ChB over the last couple of years.
