Monday 19th September 2016 – Letter From HMCTS Takes 4 Weeks To Be Delivered To Me! (ESA 5th claim)

In today’s post, I received a letter from HMCTS dated 22/8/2016, informing me that my ESA (5th claim) appeal will be heard on 6/9/2016. If the date on the letter is correct, it means that it has taken 4 weeks to be delivered to me! So I rang HMCTS, and waited for minutes for my call to be answered. “D” confirmed that the letter I’d only received today was indeed sent to me on 22/8/2016, I told her it’s taken 4 weeks to get here, & as I’ve got several other Appeals/Tribunals in the pipeline, I want all future correspondence to be sent to me via Recorded Delivery (Signed For service), to prove when it’s sent, & prove when it’s received. “D” will put my request in, but she’s never heard of it being done before (ie items sent via Recorded Delivery). I said if any other letters take a month to reach me, I could lose Tribunals, as I wouldn’t know when they were listed. The separate complaint I’d made on 9th Sept 2016 is still being investigated (re: HMCTS failed to tell me whether Tribunal was going to be Adjourned or not, constitution of the panel, and that taxi fares would be refunded).

About slowlyrotting

I am constantly having to deal with several different benefits issues. I've got Appeals and Tribunals coming out of my ears, and have pretty much lost any faith I ever had in the British Justice/Tribunals system. I've lost count of the formal complaints I've had to make. I've had numerous interactions with the DWP, HMRC, Birmingham City Council, etc for years, so I've literally got several hundred posts (maybe thousands) to compose for this website. I can't post them to here as quick or as often as I'd like to, for a variety of reasons. Over the last few years, I have endured a conveyor belt of shit decisions from HMCTS. The piss-poor postal services that HMCTS, HMRC, Birmingham City Council, the DWP, & CSA rely on (bulk printing and several different carriers), compound the ineptitude of these departments and agencies. I intend to go back years, eventually. But at this rate, I don't think I'll ever get to post everything I want to. You can see from what I've put up so far that I've got a lot of crap to deal with. I'm probably not even 1% or 2% done. I am slowly rotting....................
