I travelled to Sutton Coldfield Jobcentre for my JSA (2nd claim) work-focused interview. My work coach is “J”. I requested backdating to 7th Sept 2016 (I explained the farce of claiming ESA (5th & 6th claims), then JSA (2nd claim, but not completed), then Income Support (3rd claim)).
“J” said the TAM date (Treated As Made) on printed form is the 29th Sept 2016, so she must use that date.
“J” gave me a lengthy clerical JSA form, & a backdating request form to complete.
JSA is paid in arrears, it takes 10-14 days to process JSA clerical form on another site. “J” didn’t have time to listen to, or list, all of my health issues, as she had to soon leave to do the school run, but she’ll “get the ball rolling.”. She also said my Claimant Commitment “isn’t set in stone“, as she didn’t have time today to go through everything properly.
After “J” had left, I remained sitting at her desk for nearly 2 hours, I completed the 2 x lengthy forms she’d handed to me. Exhausted, I then went home.
