Supervisor “S” rang me from Handsworth Benefit Processing Centre (DWP), (re: my I.S. 3rd claim). She said the Decision Maker that made the decision to refuse me I.S. (3rd claim) isn’t in yet, but that a detailed explanation was sent out to me via 2nd class mail yesterday. “S” said I haven’t actually got the dates for any of my upcoming Tribunals, so I’m not entitled to Income Support. I replied that I attended 2 x separate Tribunals in October 2016, so I should have received I.S. “S” advised me to speak to the Decision Maker when he/she is in.
I then said that I’ve received no response to the complaint that I’d emailed on 7th Oct 2016, re: fare reimbursement to work-focused interviews; or a response to the complaint that I’d emailed on the 24th October 2016. “S” advised me to resend the 2 x complaint emails to:
I asked to speak to a HEO (Higher Executive Officer), as I want an explanation now of the precise rules regarding being a “Party To Proceedings“. But “S” said the HEO is in a meeting. She will try to get the HEO or Decision Maker to call me today. I lamented that Benefits, Complaints, & Tribunals is all I ever do. This is my life, (I got a bit upset).
