I ring the DWP on 0345 6088545, as I’ve only received 3 weeks of JSA (2nd claim) money since 7th Sept 2016, (£219.31 for 8th Sept to 28th Sept 2016). I had also requested backdating to 7th Sept 2016 following fiasco with several DWP benefits since 7th Sept 2016. I waited for 9 minutes for my call to be answered by “V”. She said a payment for £574.36 should reach my bank A/C by 25th Nov, to cover period 29th Sept 2016 to 22nd Nov 2016.
I asked “V” about the 7th Sept 2016, she said system is saying I was in receipt of ESA for that day, so she can’t do anything, she suggested I contact ESA. [Total call duration 15 minutes]
