Wednesday 1st March 2017 – I Make New Claim For Income Support (5th Claim)

This morning, I rang 0800 055 6688, to make a new claim for Income Support (5th claim). I’m still waiting for a Senior Manager to call me, to confirm which DWP benefit I was entitled to from 4th January 2017 to 28th February 2017, as I keep getting refused everything! (I wonder how many more weeks I’ll have to wait for the DWP Central England Complaints Resolution Team to respond to my complaints/requests….).

As I’ve got a Tribunal listed for this current “benefit week”, to which I’m a “Party To Proceedings”, I thought I may as well ring up and make a new claim for I.S. (5th claim), effective from today, as this shouldn’t overly-confuse I.S. Benefit Processing.

I waited for 8 minutes for my call to be answered by “L” at Poole Customer Service Centre. I specifically requested that this new claim be dealt with at Erdington Jobcentre, as Sutton Coldfield Jobcentre is too hot.   [Total call duration 66 mins]
