Friday 18th May 2018 – I Attend Job Interview (Rescheduled Due To Heavy Menstruation Last Week)

I get fuck all help. I asked for help from the fabled “Access To Work”, but the term is a complete misnomer, as they don’t offer assistance until I’ve actually secured a job! Continue reading

Friday 11th May 2018 – Unable To Attend Job Interview, Because Of Heavy Menstruation (JSA)

The fabled “Access to Work” does fuck all to help tackle health issues prior to gaining employment.  so the term “Access to Work” is something of a misnomer. Continue reading

Thursday 6th July 2017 – I Continually Have To Explain My Health Issues To Prospective Employers, Due To Lack Of Help To Access Health Investigations/Treatments From DWP & Others (JSA 3rd claim)

Judge looked away as though with sniffy disdain/disgust/incredulity as I gave some of my answers, and where I was mortified to be there, trying to explain my health issues, in front of 2 men (as well as 2 women). The male panel member also looked equally unsympathetic/incredulous. I’d had no legal help, and no-one to take with me. Continue reading

Sunday 2nd July 2017 – I’m Still Losing Lots Of Blood

By 12:45am, I’d been waiting for an ambulance for almost three and a half hours, from when I first dialled 999 at about 9:15pm last night. This was the first time, in my entire life, that I’ve ever dialled 999 to request an ambulance for myself. I am so disappointed at the indifferent attitudes I’ve encountered. Continue reading

Saturday 1st July 2017 – I’m Losing So Much Blood, I Call 999

“J” said the paramedic advised that I don’t need an ambulance.  “J” advised me to ring 111 instead. The most important question, it seems, is did I just pass enough blood to fill a coffee cup/mug? He didn’t specify whether he was referring to an espresso cup (small), or something larger (cappuccino, perhaps) Continue reading

Tuesday 20th June 2017 – Due To Heavy Menstruation, I Stain Chair At Erdington Jobcentre (JSA 3)

I have since asked the DWP (via Central England Complaints Resolution Team) to clarify what they expect me to do, and the time that I must be expected to travel to appts/work/job interviews, when my sanitary towel can flood in less than a minute, and stain my clothes, and whatever I’m sitting on. Continue reading

Tuesday 28th March 2017 – I Attend Erdington Jobcentre, For My New JSA (3rd Claim) Work Focused Interview. It’s An Ordeal…….

“T” shot back that as a woman, she too has menstruated, & there are treatments available for heavy periods. I doubt that she’s medically qualified, and I wouldn’t mind if she was demonstrating a degree of empathy or understanding. But her aggressively hostile interview technique continued through this part of the discussion too, she said I could have an implant, or go on the pill. Continue reading
